The OFC® is installed on oil wells to relieve restricting back-pressure caused by production facilities and sales line pressure. Back pressure in the casing restricts the formations oil and gas production.
Increased gas sales on wells with low bottom-hole pressures and fair-to-good productivity index
Gas wells with good perm but low formation pressure
Oil wells where the sales line pressure is higher than reservoir pressure
Oil wells where reduced backpressure (hydrostatic) on the formation would increase fluids and gas volumes
Gas wells where rod pumping is necessary to remove water
Oil wells that have a gas locking problem
Capture and compress vented gas into the sales line in area where gas venting is prohibitive (green wells)
Remote locations where dependable compression is needed and/or to operate lease equipment such as separators, natural gas engines, etc.
